Quality of Life Update Nov. 10, 2022
Saving the World from Slime » Devlog
Added Features and Bug Fixes:
- Reduced offline time's calculation time
- Added an Option Tab
- Added multiple save slots
- Reduced the likelihood of a false alarm from State.lastPlayed growing larger than Date.now()
- Improved Game.tick()
- Fixed Capacitive Slimes so that they have proper functionality
- Changed the Idle Multiplier. It no longer decreases on click. Instead, passive growth has been massively diminished (10 minutes = +1. Up from 1 minute = +1). Growth rate increases massively the longer the player goes without clicking.
- Buffed Slime so that it affects the Idle Multiplier to balance the above change
- Tier 2 upgrades now require lv 10 in the corresponding Tier 1 upgrade before they unlock. This is still slightly visually buggy
- The Slime and Building sections will automatically unlock and deduct Energy as appropriate. This is a temporary fix to address the locks not shaking
- Buildings cannot draw from resources when less than 0.01 of that resource exists. This should prevent some common softlocks
- Changed the version number from v x.0.0 to v 0.0.x. I am dumb and didn't realize that v 1.0.0 was meant to be the true release. This game is still in alpha
- Added some early game tutorials
- Fixed the description of Capacitive Slimes
I am slightly less confident that I caught all the bugs in this one. If you find a bug, the best places to let me know are here or on Discord.
